Thanks to the IBAN provided by SATŌ, your deposits are automatically converted into euro stablecoins. ### Do I need blockchain knowledge to use SATŌ? - No. SATŌ is designed to function like a traditional account: you can use your money without worrying about which payment rail is used. ### How are my funds stored? - Funds are held on-chain as supported stablecoins. The reserves backing those stablecoins are managed by their respective issuers and not by SATŌ. ### Can I use a cold wallet instead of the Flex wallet? - Yes you can link any EVM compatible cold wallet to a Flex account and keep a full control on your private key ### Is a cold wallet required? - No. SATŌ works perfectly well without an external wallet. Connecting a wallet is a free of charge option intended for users who are familiar with blockchain technology. ### Is SATŌ a crypto trading platform? - No. SATŌ is not a trading platform and does not offer cryptocurrency trading or speculation. ### Can I buy cryptocurrencies with SATŌ? - No. SATŌ allows you to receive and use stablecoins, but does not allow you to buy or sell cryptocurrencies directly. ### Do I need a token or NFT to use SATŌ? - No. SATŌ does not issue any tokens or NFTs. In accordance with legislation and our KYC and AML procedures, SATŌ and its partners verify your identity before opening an account. ### Is a minimum deposit required to activate my account? - Yes. You must deposit at least 20 € via bank transfer to your SATŌ IBAN in order to activate your account. ### Will I lose my funds if I lose access to my authenticated device? - No, you can recover your cryptographic half-key using our KYC recovery tools. ### How does SATŌ make money? - SATŌ generates revenue through premium plans, optional services and partner-based financial infrastructure. ### What happens after account closure? - If your account is closed and a positive balance exceeding €1 remains: - At your initiative: you have 60 days to withdraw your funds via SEPA transfer or export the private key of your Flex accounts. After 90 days, you can still export your private key. - At our initiative: you may export the private key of your Flex accounts. - Even if SATŌ were to cease operations, you would still be able to export the private key of your Flex accounts.
